How It Works

Step 1: Connect the Cord

Snap one end of the grounding cord onto the continuity tester and plug the other end into a properly grounded outlet.

Step 2:Test the Product

Place the continuity tester onto your grounding product and press the test button.

Step 3: Check the Indicator Light

If the green light remains illuminated while moving the tester across the surface of the grounding product, continuity is present and the product is properly connected.

Important

The grounding product being tested must also be connected to a properly grounded outlet. If it is not connected, the tester will not indicate continuity.
