The Redemption Shield Story
Redemption Shield began in 2018, born out of both personal necessity and a deeply rooted calling.
There was a season in my life when my health had declined to the point that I knew something deeper was wrong. After much searching, I discovered that I was experiencing electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS) related to EMFs (electromagnetic frequencies). I strongly sensed that my environment was playing a role, yet clear guidance and trustworthy solutions were difficult to find.
Serving others had been part of my life long before this chapter began.
My family and I spent seven years overseas in Asia on the mission field. Those years shaped our faith, deepened our compassion, and instilled in us a lasting commitment to serve others in meaningful and practical ways.
Before founding Redemption Shield, I worked in retail as a Trainer, focusing on customer service excellence. I had the opportunity to mentor others, teaching them how to genuinely care for the people they served. That experience reinforced a belief I still carry today: service is not just about transactions, it is about listening carefully, educating clearly, supporting faithfully, and building lasting trust.
When my health declined, that same heart for service became deeply personal.
As a minister, I felt called not only to pursue healing for myself, but to help others who were quietly facing similar struggles. What began as a search for answers became a mission, to provide protection, education, and hope.
We began by opening our first store on smaller online platforms, offering EMF protection solutions to individuals searching for answers, just as I once had.
As awareness grew, so did our community. This led us to establish our primary online home at redemptionshield.com, where we now serve customers around the world.
For nearly three years, my adult sons, Joseph and Joshua, and I traveled across the United States hosting booth events. Those experiences were truly transformative. We met incredible partners, loyal customers, and lifelong friends. We listened to stories, shared encouragement, and witnessed firsthand the growing need for reliable EMF protection and grounding products in today’s increasingly wireless world.
As we shifted our focus toward strengthening our online presence and expanding the Redemption Shield brand globally, we were blessed with an extraordinary team:
Hannah, our Social Media Manager, has played an instrumental role in growing our online presence and voice. She is also a cherished family friend from our early years on the mission field.
Dawn, a dear friend, has been a tremendous support in operations, helping ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. She has also traveled across the United States and personally helped thousands of Redemption Shield customers.
Joy carefully prepares each of our grounding bed sheets before they reach our customers and assists with inventory management, maintaining the quality and care we are known for.

I’m happy to share that my health has improved significantly, and grounding has truly changed my life. Today, I sleep grounded using our 10% organic combed cotton bed sheets and spend time at my desk with computer grounding mats.
When working longer hours, I use an apron for added support, and I wear protective hats and shawls when traveling or various events. Faraday bags have become especially important when I need to carry my phone close by.
I also use a grounding blanket daily while resting on the couch, it has become one of my favorite ways to relax and recharge. In areas of higher exposure, I hang curtains as needed, and during times when my sensitivities flare up, I rely on our bed canopy for additional protection.
