Negative & Positive Ions

Negative & Positive Ions

What are Positive Ions?

Small molecules that have acquired a positive charge are known as positive ions. Positive ions are the most prevalent types of air pollution, including hazardous compounds, pet dander, pollen, mold, and other dangerous chemicals.

Numerous illnesses can develop when excessive positive ions are present in the air. The main reason is that we're exposed to positive ions from electromagnetic fields produced by computers, cell phones, and other electronic devices. These fields can suppress the immune system and impair brain function, leading to symptoms like anxiety, breathing issues, fatigue, headaches, irritability, lack of energy, poor concentration, nausea, and vertigo. Unfortunately, there are many more positive ions in the air than before and they cause particular problems in urban areas, workplaces, and commercial areas.

What are Negative Ions?

An atom that has gained one or more electrons produces a negative ion. They are the exact opposites of positive ions.

Negative ions are found in places like the ocean, mountains, woods, and waterfalls. They affect your health, mood, and energy levels by entering your bloodstream, making biological processes increase serotonin levels, reducing depressive symptoms, reducing stress, and boosting vitality.

Harmful Effects of Positive Ions on Humans & the Earth

Positive ions are still prevalent in cities and indoor spaces, whereas negative ions tend to vanish in polluted surroundings, especially in enclosed rooms with air conditioning. Strong positive ion generators include office air conditioners, fluorescent lighting, cellphones, televisions, computers, poisonous carpets, upholstery, paint, and air pollution, with printers and photocopiers being particularly harmful.

Positive ion sources are much more prevalent in the environment we live in today, which leads to an electrical imbalance in the air and in our bodies. The first reports of increased irritability, migraine episodes, or thromboses were the biological effects of positive air ions on human health.

Positive ions are also responsible for changes in the electrical charge of the atmosphere that precede advancing weather fronts, such as increased lightning because of the positive ion pollution caused by 5G satellites, electronic devices, and the hundreds of thousands of cell towers. The lightning is getting stronger to clear the environment of these ions.

Each entering weather front produces positive electrical charges, which lead to the production of serotonin, according to research. They then classified weather sensitivity reactions into three categories: Typical irritation syndrome caused by excessive serotonin synthesis, lack of adrenaline resulting in the classic tiredness condition, and hyperthyroidism with "apathetic" thyroid symptoms that are subclinical.

How to Increase Negative Ions?

Spending more time outside is the simplest method to benefit from negative ions. Explore nature because that's where negative ions are found, such as thick forests, mountains, parks, waterfalls, springs, after heavy rain, sea & beaches.
